NASPAA Institutional Membership
Members | Application | Code of Practice
Academic units (e.g. colleges, schools, divisions, departments, programs, centers, institutes) within institutions of higher education that have been accredited by the appropriate university accrediting bodies. A school can be in or outside of the US to join as a full institutional member. Click here to view roster of current institutional members.
BENEFITS OF JOINING
A NASPAA membership is a demonstration of commitment to professional public service education and training. NASPAA members in good standing are entitled to apply for accreditation, entitled to apply for establishing a Pi Alpha Alpha Chapter, receive the Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE), participate in our Annual Conference, serve on committees and participate in all NASPAA activities and discussions. View Ten Important Things NASPAA Does for You.
CRITERIA FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP
Full membership will be given to programs which have a substantial commitment to the purpose of the Association and have organized separately identified curricula leading to professional graduate degrees in public affairs and administration or to relevant baccalaureate and pre-baccalaureate degrees.
Membership does NOT mean that a program is accredited by NASPAA or that NASPAA has made any judgment about the quality of its academic program. However, regular institutional members are eligible to apply for accreditation.
To apply for institutional membership please download the application form herein included, and fax it to 202.626.4978 or email to naspaa@naspaa.org.
